It’s hard to imagine the revenge thriller being pushed to greater extremes than this: Lee Byung-hun stars as a cop who ensnares the maniac that murdered his pregnant girlfriend in a brutal game of cat and mouse, and director Kim Jee-woon spares not a drop of blood in conceiving this extended bath in humanity at its most debased.
