Wallace & Gromit Shorts
Saturday, March 14, 2015, 3:00 p.m.
Dir. Nick Park. A celebration of the 25 birthday of Nick Park’s absent-minded, cheese-loving inventor Wallace and his faithful canine companion Gromit. Park began work on A Grand Day Out as a student project, completing it after joining Aardman Animations in 1985. The film was nominated for an Academy Award but lost to his other entry that year, Creature Comforts. This program includes A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, and A Close Shave, both of which earned Oscars for Park and secured Wallace & Gromit a place as a U.K. national treasure and one of the most beloved animated duos of all times.
Program duration: 90 mins. Recommended for ages 5+.
Tickets: $13 ($7.80 for members at the Film Lover level and above). Order tickets online. (Members may contact [email protected] with any questions regarding online reservations.)
