With Henry Fonda, Victor Mature, Linda Darnell.The real-life story of the reluctant lawman Wyatt Earp (who Ford had actually met) provides the basis of Ford’s tender masterpiece. The legendary shootout at the OK Corral is transformed into a symbolic showdown between civilization and the frontier. This beautifully restored version contains five minutes that were cut by Fox studio chief Darryl Zanuck.
