In the six-part spiritual adventure series, Aslan explores Ultra-Orthodox Judaism in Israel, Scientology in the United States, Hindu asceticism in India, Vodou in Haiti, Santa Muerte in Mexico, and an apocalyptic doomsday cult in Hawaii.

In this special preview episode, "Aghori Sadhus in India," Aslan journeys to the holy city of Varanasi, India's famed "City of the Dead,” where the Ganges River is lit by the funeral fires of dozens of crematoriums. There, he enters the world of the Aghori, a sect of Hindus who reject traditional Karmic notions of purity and pollution, where he participates in a series of local rituals, visits a modern day leper colony, and engages in a purification ceremony in the Ganges.

Following the screening, Aslan will participate in a conversation with comedian and broadcaster John Fugelsang.
