In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary
Dir. Rob Reiner. 1987, 93 mins. 35mm. With Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Billy Crystal, Andre the Giant. Inconceivable! This year marks the 30th anniversary of The Princess Bride, the beloved action-adventure-love story adapted from William Goldman’s 1973 novel. The film is just as much of a fantastic—and quotable—tale filled with royalty, pirates, heroes, villains, and true love, as when it debuted. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Tickets: $15 ($11 seniors and students / $7 youth (ages 3–17) / free for children under 3 and Museum members at the Film Lover and Kids Premium levels and above). Order tickets online. (Members may contact [email protected] with questions regarding online reservations.)
