Kid Flicks Two
Sunday, October 14, 2018, 11:00 a.m.
Museum of the Moving Image - Bartos Screening Room
Explore new worlds without leaving the theater! Kid Flicks features audience favorites and award-winners from the 2018 New York International Children’s Film Festival, the largest film festival for kids and teens in North America. In the Grand Prize award-winner Game (USA), AJ has the drive to excel but must push through obstacles to get there. Meanwhile, teamwork takes on different stripes when an odd couple of bears are forced to work together in the hilarious stop-motion short Poles Apart (UK). Plus, the CG-animated wonder GokurÅsama (France) bridges cultures and generations by showing us that even in an automated age, a little human touch can still work wonders.
Recommended for ages 8 +. Approximately 80 mins.
Tickets: $15 ($11 seniors and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / free for children under 3 and Museum members at the Film Lover and Kids Premium levels and above). Order tickets online. (Members may contact [email protected] with questions regarding online reservations.)
