Season Three of The Handmaid’s Tale is driven by June’s resistance to the dystopian regime of Gilead and her struggle to strike back against overwhelming odds. Startling reunions, betrayals, and a journey to the terrifying heart of Gilead force all characters to take a stand, guided by one defiant prayer: “Blessed be the fight.” A preview screening of the first episode of Season Three will be followed by a conversation with the show’s creator and showrunner Bruce Miller and Executive Producer Warren Littlefield. About the speakers:
Warren Littlefield, the founder and President of The LITTLEFIELD Company, currently serves as Executive Producer of The Handmaid’s Tale along with creator/showrunner Bruce Miller and Elisabeth Moss. Littlefield also serves as Executive Producer on FX’s Fargo, alongside Noah Hawley and Joel and Ethan Coen, and is Executive Producer on Hulu’s recently ordered series Reprisal. During his time at NBC, Littlefield was responsible for developing many of the series that defined quality programming, including The Golden Girls, Alf, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Seinfeld, ER, Friends, Frasier, Mad About You, Just Shoot Me, 3rd Rock From the Sun, NewsRadio, Homicide: Life on the Street, and Law & Order. He was an architect of “Must See TV.” In his final year at NBC, he supervised the development of Will & Grace, Providence, and The West Wing.
Bruce Miller is the creator, showrunner, and Executive Producer of the critically acclaimed, Emmy, Golden Globe, and Peabody Award-winning series The Handmaid’s Tale, based on Margaret Atwood’s groundbreaking novel. Miller began his writing career on NBC’s long-running hit ER, and has been a writer/producer on Syfy’s Eureka and Alphas, and the CW’s The 100.
