Winner of three Academy Awards and nominated for five more, including Best Picture, Dunkirk is an immersive journey back to the shores of France during the battle of Dunkirk, a trying moment for Allied forces early in WWII. Visionary director Christopher Nolan’s epic action thriller opens with hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in, then expands out to tell parallel stories at sea and in the air, all of which converge for an unforgettable finale. Dunkirk was photographed on IMAX and 65mm film and will be presented in glorious 70mm.
