With the economy in tatters and Greece on the verge of bankruptcy, the new leftist government confronts the intransigence of a European Union intent on imposing crippling austerity measures upon the country. Based on the book by Yanis Varoufakis, formerly Minister of Finance, who led the negotiations with Greece’s creditors in 2015.
