A Note about Safety
COVID-19 vaccination (ages 12+) and masks (ages 2+) are required for all visitors. Please review our visitor guidelines before you visit.

Museum Hours (through December 19, 2021):
Friday: 2:00–8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00–6:00 p.m.

Holiday Hours (December 24 through January 2, 2022):
Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve): OPEN 12:00–6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day): CLOSED
Sunday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 2: OPEN DAILY 12:00–6:00 p.m.

Holiday Food Drive (through November 21): MoMI will be participating in a holiday food drive in support of our community, with all goods donated to Bread of Life Food Pantry at Center of Hope International. Bring your canned goods to our lobby to drop off during Museum hours. And, if you are planning to visit our galleries, all donors will receive 20% off same-day Museum admission (walk-up only). Presented in partnership with the Kaufman Arts District.

Currently due to limited Museum hours, the Free Friday Nights program in not being offered. The Museum is participating in the New York public library systems's CulturePass program. Find out more here.

Screenings & Events
Tickets are required for each individual screening. Unless otherwise noted, tickets for most screenings and events are:
$15 adults (18+)
$11 seniors citizens (65+)
$11 students (18+) with valid ID
$9 youth (3–17)
Ticketholders may add on same-day gallery admission ($5).

Admission Policies

Ticketing Policy
All ticket sales are final—no refunds or exchanges. All tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Unless otherwise noted, advance purchase of tickets is encouraged to minimize contact on-site. There is a $1.50 transaction fee per ticket for all online purchases. (Transaction fees are waived for Museum members at the Film Lover and Kids Premium levels and above.) Same-day general Museum admission is available to ticketholders for an additional $5 per ticket.

Visitor Information
Children under the age of fourteen must be accompanied by an adult of eighteen years or older. To ensure the safety and security of the Museum’s artifacts, strollers, umbrellas, and large bags (including all backpacks) are not permitted in the galleries. Please note: At this time coat check is closed. Gallery admission is free for New York City teachers with valid ID (tickets for screenings are not included). Admission is also free for active duty service members in uniform or with proper ID. If you are in either of these categories or hold an ICOM or AAM card, please present your ID/card at admissions to gain entry (no advance reservation required).

Mobile Devices
Cell phone calls are not permitted in the galleries or theaters. Silent use, such as text messaging, is allowed in the galleries only.

Free Public Wi-Fi
The Museum offers free public wi-fi throughout the building. To access, please select the network "MomiPublic." Once connected, open a browser to accept the terms of service; then enjoy up to five hours of high-speed connection.

Photography
Photography for personal use is permitted in most gallery and lobby areas of the Museum unless otherwise noted. Flash photography, tripods, and camera extension poles (selfie sticks) are not allowed anywhere in the Museum. Photography is prohibited in the theater during screenings. No photographs or video may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without written permission from the Museum.

Food and Drink
Food and drink are available for purchase in the café. Food and drink are not permitted in the Museum's galleries. Popcorns, snacks, and water purchased at the Cafe are permitted in the theaters. No outside food or drink are allowed in the Museum or its Courtyard.
